So, this happens rarely. 4/5 kids are at sleepovers/birthday parties etc. You would think i would ENJOY the quiet. And i do…for about 5 minutes. Then I'm lonely. The only one here is my sweet butterball babe, who is looking like a little boy after his haircut,
and he is sleeping zzzzzzzzzzz
There is no mohawked by demand boy here
to terrorize us with his Hulk impersonations and dozens of hotwheels races…and while these moments without him may be preparing (mummy) for Jai going to school next year, i miss him already!
There is no cheeky Rani, loud loud Dakota stories, or surly pre-teen Cara. And I miss them.
So call me what you will, but when all my babies are not here, it feels like something is missing…
Ill always prefer this…

Don't feel like the lone ranger...this exact thing happens to me 2....I wish, long or peace & quiet and then when I get it----BOO----I miss my babies!!
PS...I love your blog too :)
your kids are so cute. and i LOVE the way you dress them, especially the baby. oooooh i wish we had more things like this in the US.
I do the same thing.....right now 2 of the 4 boys are with a friend and the babe is sleeping...so only andrew is here and he's 11. I hope I don't miss them too much while on my criuse next....but I think I will get over it quickly once I am relaxing in the Bahamas!!
Precious pics of your kids...so sweet. Try to enjoy the quietness..
love and blessings from ga~erin
I am the same way. I love summertime when the kids are home all day and get so sad when school starts back up. When we got a week off from school for the Swine Flu I was so excited and really hoped they'd just cancel school for the rest of the year. I had to really gear myself up for the last 3 weeks and put on a happy, excited face for the kids.
KA-UTE kids!!! I have a fatboy too. People look at me weird when I say it!
I just LOVE that you have a mohawk by demand kid! I just gave all of my boys their summer cuts and 2 of my bloys ended up with "mohawks by demand" as well :)
I will be posting pics on Monday :)
ps Glad you popped over to my blog today. Nice to "meet" you!
I stumbled on your blog through 4 men and girly twins. I can't remember how I stumbled on her blog! I just took a quick glance through some of your posts and this I can say...I completely understand when you are talking about missing your kids. We have five little punks ourselves...can't wait to read more.
